Pinaxa Hydro Gas 1001

Pinaxa Hydro Gas 1001 Asset Monitoring Simplified

Continuous Composite Gas-in-Oil & Moisture Intelligence

The Pinaxa Hydro Gas 1001 is a permanently installed sensor designed for real-time monitoring of critical fault gases and moisture in transformer oil. Compact and cost-effective, it enables early fault detection and supports preventive maintenance strategies for distribution and power transformers.

Key Monitoring Capabilities

The HydroGas 1001 continuously evaluates Total Dissolved Combustible Gas (TDCG) and moisture levels to identify developing thermal and electrical faults.
  • Hydrogen (H₂): Indicator of partial discharge and electrical stress
  • Carbon Monoxide (CO): Signals degradation of cellulosic insulation
  • Acetylene (C₂H₂): Critical marker for high-energy arcing faults
  • Thermal Gases:
    • Methane (CH₄)
    • Ethylene (C₂H₄)
    • Ethane (C₂H₆)
  • Moisture (H₂O): Continuous water-in-oil monitoring to prevent dielectric failure
